Rhonda's Testimony

"God graciously used the words of my second grade Sunday School teacher to expose my need of salvation, and on that day He made me one of His children. A few years later, at summer camp, I committed my life to serving Him wherever He would lead me."
Rhonda made a commitment to pursue cross-cultural ministry in 1986, during a missions conference in her home church. That summer, she experienced God's faithfulness in a cross-cultural setting while setting while working with a construction team in Papua New Guinea.
Rhonda graduated from Messiah College in 1984 and taught high school mathematics for six years at Plumstead Christian School near Philadelphia. During that time, she completed her master's degree in education and was involved in ministry in her home church, teaching Sunday School, serving on a prison ministry team, and working in one-on-one discipleship with women from the church and at the country prison. During the 1990-91 school year, she completed the certificate requirements in Biblical Studies at Columbia Biblical Seminary and Graduate School of Missions.
Rhonda applied to Bible Christian Union (BCU) after candidate school in June of 1991, and was appointed to serve on a team in Austria. In January 1994, BCU merged with The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM). After completing language school and an internship, Rhonda lives in the town of Ternitz, one hour south of Vienna. She's involved in children's and music ministry, and also uses some administrative skills as part of the church-planting effort there.
